The Coalition for Education in the Outdoors is hosting its 17th Biennial Research Symposium February 6–8, 2026 at the YMCA’s Blue Ridge Assembly conference center in Black Mountain, NC, USA. There will be an optional pre-symposium session Friday, February 6 from approximately 9 AM–12 PM with the symposium beginning at 2 PM EST on February 6, 2026. You are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation by September 1, 2025. Submission details available at SUNY Cortland and 2nd Nature TREC. This is a friendly, supportive conference that brings together researchers interested in environmental education, education for sustainability, adventure education, outdoor recreation, therapeutic recreation, organized camping, and tourism.
