This list of resources includes websites and activities for teaching and learning about endangered species.

  • Endangered Species Coalition: At-home and online activities to recognize the importance of wildlife for Endangered Species Day and beyond. 

  • Faunalytics Endangered Species: From a library and animal tracker to up-to-date articles, the Faunalytics website educates the public and helps to save endangered species.

  • Fish and Wildlife Services Endangered Species Map: Published by the Fish and Wildlife Service, this interactive, clickable map allows you to click on any of the 50 states (plus Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands) to see success stories of the Endangered Species Act! 

  • The Habitable Planet, from Annenberg Learner: High school and college level online text and video about the importance of protecting the biodiversity of vulnerable ecosystems.

  • World Wildlife Fund's Species List: The World Wildlife Fund hosts a list of endangered species. From the main, user-friendly list, you can click on a species to reveal more information.
