I am currently a student attending Eastern Michigan University studying to become a teacher of English, literature, and writing at the secondary level. I have a particular interest in environmental literature and incorporating the concept of sustainability in my discipline.

I am a sophomore studying political science at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and am interning at the NAAEE during the summer of 2017. I have volunteer experience in conservation education, and am interested in advocating for sustainable policy in the future.

20+ years of teaching Environmental and AP Environmental Science at the oldest and largest high school in Arizona.
