For the last 23 years I have been a professor at the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. I have done research in the area of reproductive ecology of endemic plants in the island of Puerto Rico. Since last year I am teaching an environmental course.
I am a Full Professor of zoology at the University of Puerto Rico at Aguadilla. I teach general zoology and a general biology for honors students. I am also the Director of Vida Marina: Center for Ecological Restoration and Conservation of the UPR
I am a sophomore at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, minoring in Environmental Studies and interested in majoring in Political Science, and I am interning at the NAAEE during the summer of 2017. I have work experience in education and am passionate about wildlife and the environment.
