Mt. Adams Institute strengthens the connection between people and the natural world through education, service learning, career development and research.

Originally from a small island in Puget Sound Washington, David found his love for the outdoors leading High School expeditions and running environmental education programs for the Highline School District. David is currently the director of FLOC Outdoor Education Center.

My name is Kantaro Tabiraki from Japan and I’m a full time doctoral student in Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. I have also volunteered to be a leader for kids with a focus on EE in Satoyama as a board member for the KINTARO club, Nonprofit Organization since 2013.

I am a research administration professional with a long history in sustainability, environmental policy, and environmental ethics. Always looking for partnerships and collaborations! Expertise includes finding funding, developing proposals, program evaluation, and data analysis/reporting.
