I am an Outdoor Recreation and Leadership student at Northern Michigan University. I am pursuing my degree in hopes that one day I can inform others of the importance of the outdoors and teach the growing youth about conservation and how to keep our planet beautiful.
I am 17 and love staying active in the great outdoors, whether it is camping, small hikes or going on a canoe ride. I have started an initiative called WEGO that stands for Women of the Environment and the Great Outdoors, which encourages new Canadians and international students to engage in nature.
