I have worked for the US Forest Service for over 30 years in watershed planning and environmental education. My current job is with the urban connections program sharing information about the Forest Service to residents of the Minneapolis-St. Paul MN area. Youth engagement about careers also impt.

I'm the co-founder of Xiao Lu Nature Education Center, and founder of Huxiang Natural Science Center. Owing to great love for children and nature, I have changed myself from a full-time environmental public welfare person to fully devote to natural education in 2014.
I completed my undergrad in Biology at the University of South Florida and am currently working on a PhD at the University of Otago (New Zealand) focusing on the interplay of gender and environmental management. Upon completion, I plan to return to the U.S. to work in environmental education.
