I hold a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) with additional post-graduate studies at Tufts University (USA). Environmental Education Postgraduate Course from the University of Brasilia (UnB).
Md. Ashraful Islam is presently working as a ‘Town Planner’ in Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) and also worked as ‘Project Director’ of ongoing Detailed Area Plan (2016-35) project of RAJUK. DAP (2016-35) is going to be the master plan for Dhaka city’s growth management.
I manage an environmental education program in western North Carolina that serves over 25,000 youth annually. I also serve as president-elect for the Environmental Educators of North Carolina. I am currently working to increase the reach of our citizen science programs across the state.
