I started teaching with Nature's Classroom in 1987 in the woods in CT. My passion for teaching and the environmental continues today with a small powerful group of ladies known as The Chirping Bird Society. We focus on educating and reducing local single use plastic in the Myrtle Beach area.

Recent graduate of Environmental Science and Policy from St. Edward's University (Austin, TX). Currently working for Austin Parks & Recreation leading youth in outdoor recreation & environmental education. Freelance writer and photographer; pursuing career in conservation journalism/photojournalism.

Clay is a tree-ring scientist in the Department of Geography and Anthropology at Louisiana State University. He has studied how hurricanes and sea-level rise affect coastal tree growth, and he is sharing that knowledge with K-12 schools in Louisiana.

I am a longtime environmental educator based in Kalamazoo, MI. My work over the years has focused on water quality education and civic education. I am currently working with the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative to organize their 2017 Place-Based Education Conference.
