I have a deep passion for connecting our youth with nature and gardens. My passion begin in 2007 when I started working for the National Park Service and created a award winning garden program. I love to hike, fish and anything that is related to the outdoors. I go by Ranger Squirrel!
I am a zoology student at Michigan State University pursuing a career in informal and environmental education. I have completed internships in the field of informal education and am a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association for Interpretation.
I am an environmental educator in Tucson, Az. I teach students Pre-K - 5th grade including gardening and ecology with emphasis on the desert.
