I am a sociologist and Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at College of Saint Benedict & Saint John’s University. I specialize in climate and environmental justice, social movements, sustainable development, gender and social inequalities, and qualitative research methods.

Jeannine Montgomery is an Education and Outreach Coordinator for NOAA’s Office of Education and manages the Outreach Center in Silver Spring, MD.   Prior to joining NOAA, she had the privilege of working as a Park Ranger - Interpreter at Yellowstone National Park for fifteen years, and as Chief of Interpretation and Heritage Resources at Fort Harrison State Park, Indiana for ten years. Jeannine holds a BS in Geology, and a BS in Biology and Geography Education. 

Rising junior at Boston University double majoring in International Relations and Environmental Analysis & Policy.
