Jessica Lura, a National Board Certified teacher, has worked in education for over 20 years, having taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade as well as US history. An explorer at heart, she is a National Geographic Educator Certification mentor and Certification trainer and CA Global Education Fellow.
I currently work for Charles County Public Schools as their MWEE educator. Through this I teach middle and high school students about the local watersheds and what may be impacting their health. I have also taught in a nonformal setting at a New York State Park nature center.
