Ibelieve wholeheartedly in the power of science inquiry to not only discover the natural world but to also discover ourselves. Through inspiring and meaningful outdoor learning experiences, you can never be too old or too young to find excitement in nature.

I was born and raised in northern Michigan but came to Florida for both undergraduate and graduate school. I love having the opportunity to educate students about the importance of being environmental stewards while using the incredible habitats of south Florida a living laboratory.
