I am a passionate environmental activist focused on educating our youth through the arts as "Queen Green". I have a M.A. in Urban Sustainability from Antioch University Los Angeles and work as a Legislative Analyst for the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle).

I serve as Area Manager for Head Start / ECEAP programs through Lower Columbia College. Previously I owned and operated a business offering outdoor learning opportunities through forest school, nature preschool, day camps and field trips. I want to see more families connecting positivelywith nature!

Kim Alvin De Lara is an award-winning educator, environmental STEM advocate, and elementary teacher in Arizona. Originally from the Philippines, he brings 14 years of teaching experience and a passion for connecting students with STEM, environmental education, innovation, and hands-on learning. He is a 2025 Arizona Environmental Educator of the Year and a 2026 Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators recipient. Kim is also actively involved with NAAEE and  inspiring young learners to become creative problem-solvers and environmental stewards.

I'm a teacher in a public elementary school. My passion for nature and environmental education help me rethink the traditional classroom and teaching practices, getting my class outside and immersed in nature as much as we can!
