I am a nature advocate & parent of two with a mission to help children develop a strong appreciation for the natural world. M.S Graduate student in Natural Resources and Environmental Science @ The University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico.

I'm an Assistant Park Manager at Lake Johnson Park. I've been there since February 2017. I spearhead most of our programming efforts for the park. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love to go hiking with my dogs. I also enjoy to read in my free time.

For the past several years, I've traveled the midwest and eastern US working at various nonprofit organizations, geeking out about nature wherever I find it. I'm thrilled to finally be able to return to my ecological zipcode in beautiful southern Ohio to work on connecting people with nature!

Soy Mateo, una persona muy activa, a la que le gusta exprimir al máximo el tiempo. Particularmente me encanta practicar deporte, ya que me permite evadirme y desconectar. Especialmente practico el pádel, me apasiona este deporte de raqueta, porque es muy dinámico, divertido y social al mismo tiempo.
