Hi! I'm a plant ecologist and work for a new botanical garden in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Cheryl's professional pursuits have been driven by a desire to build healthy, sustainable communities and promote environmental stewardship. She has extensive experience in environmental education, garden education, sustainability, designing and fabricating exhibits, STEM, and COB building.

Served as: Chair of NAAEE's Research Commission, 1988-1993; Vice Chair of NAAEE's Certification Advisory Council. 2004-2010; NCATE Standard Writing Team and as NCATE Reviewer, 2004-2007; Chair of NAAEE's Accreditation Advisory Board, 2010 - ; Research Team Member, NELA Project, 2006 - .
