I am a doctorate student studying STEM Education at Texas Tech University. Having worked with organizations such as Girl Scouts and National Audubon Society before becoming a classroom science teacher, I am researching how culturally responsive practices are incorporated into garden-based education.

I am a middle school educator and enjoy teaching through PBL. My jam is math and science, and I love it when my students begin to take the reigns of their own learning.
