I am the Education Director at CAVU. Our nonprofit runs the Climate Innovation Challenge, a free program for students in grades 3-12 to create and share climate change solutions for their local communities with a global audience. CIC includes a 6-lesson currilculum, aligned with NGSS and ELA standards, that inspires youth to creatively explore climate solutions and communicate them through visual storytelling. The program ends with a student video competition offering cash prizes and global recognition. Here is a flier outlining the program.

I taught CIC with my middle school students in Boise, Idaho for 4 years and it was hands-down one of the most inspiring and rewarding experiences for my students.
