Denali Preschool and Learning Center (DPLC) is a 1,900 square foot non-profit childcare and preschool located in Alaska’s interior near Denali National Park and Preserve in the town of Healy. We have many families enrolled in the center and provide community activities that benefit over 250 families. DPLC provides early education opportunities to nurture children and promote stronger, healthier families in the rural communities of the Denali Borough.

The Denali Preschool and Learning Center (DPLC) provides a safe, fun, and welcoming place for young members of the Denali Borough to play and learn. DPLC is now in its 14th year as a non-profit daycare and preschool, but before it was known as DPLC, the business was named Kidstop. The legacy of quality childcare and education provided at our location spans more than the business life of the current DPLC. We take pride in providing professional care and education to our students and their families. Healy is Located in a beautiful area of Interior Alaska, bordering Denali National Park and Preserve and surrounded by wilderness and ample recreational opportunities, including hiking, kayaking, bicicyling, snowmaching, and more. The children of DPLC are nurtured by quality staff and the pristine environment around them. Walking field trips to the local park, garden parties, and family outings are favorite summer pasttimes for DPLC children, staff, and families.
