Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) and a permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Science and Technology Teaching (PPGECT) at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). He holds a degree in Physical Education from the State University of Ponta Grossa – UEPG and a Master's in Applied Social Sciences from the State University of Ponta Grossa. PhD in Physical Education from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, with a Post-Doctorate in Science and Technology Teaching from the Federal Technological University of Paraná - UTFPR. His main research topics are Quality of life, Disability and Health, Education, and Sustainability.
