I am the director and lead teacher at Powell Butte Community Preschool. Our program, hosted on my 2 acre hobby farm in rural Central Oregon, offers immersive placed based learning opportunites and includes the hands on care of small and miniature farm animals, and the cultivation of several preschool gardens.

Prior to my work in early childhood education, I was a Naturalist/Interpretation National Park Service Ranger at Grand Canyon National Park and an Environmental Education National Park Ranger with Everglades National Park.
