My passion for education and my love for the outdoors drew me into the world of environmental education. I have almost twenty years of experience working in various educational roles. My background in history gives me a unique perspective on the impact humans have had on the the natural world over time. I currently work with Muddy Sneakers, which is a non-profit that provides standards based science instruction to students in an outdoor setting.

As an environmental educator, my mission is to inspire students and communities to make informed, sustainable choices that protect our planet for future generations. I combine educational lessons, scientific practices, and hands on outdoor skills to foster a love of nature among. After all, we protect and advocate for the things we are connected to on a deep and personal level. Whether in classrooms, natural settings, or community outreach programs, my approach is rooted in interactive learning, experiential activities, and collaborative problem-solving to drive environmental stewardship.
