I attended college at Weatern Carolina University where I discovered my passion for all things science! I pursued a degree in Secondary Science Education with a concentration in Biology. After college I went straight into teaching high school level science first at Ledford High followed by Wilkes Central.  After 11 years of teaching everything from Earth/Environmental Science to Anatomy and Physiology, I have taken a small hiatus from the classroom to be with my young children.  I do plan to go back to the classroom at some point when it's best for my family.
