I am a preschool teacher at a half-outdoor, half indoor preschool in Washington state called Nature Vision Preschool. I've worked at NV preschool for 2 years and will continue on my third year starting in August. Before working at Nature Vision, I was an English teacher at a preschool in South Korea for 3 years. I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chinese Language and Culture and a minor focus on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I am a preschool teacher at Nature Vision Preschool in Washington State. Nature Vision Preschool is a special place because we are located in a 68 acre park in Redmond WA. Our preschool program is a play-based program that focuses on environmental science to help foster sustainable culture in our community. Our teaching is grounded in the philosophies of child-centered, playful learning within an emergent curriculum framework. We follow the natural, seasonal cycles of change in our forests, streams, and meadows as we weave in academic themes of math, language, science, art, music, movement, and environmental education. We work to provide all children with the opportunity to learn about what interests them in ways that are effective and meaningful.
Nature Vision Preschool is part of a nonprofit organization, Nature Vision. Nature Vision is an organization that provides free environmental education outreach programs for schools all over King and Snohomish County, WA. We have served over 70,000 K-12 students in the area.
