My two favorite areas of environmental education - both to learn about and teach - are foraging for wild edible plants and entomophagy (the practice of eating bugs!). That's right ... I eat bugs!

I have an A.A.S in Environmental Studies from Columbia College and earned my Master Gardener certification in the state of Texas. I have volunteered in multiple capacities for the National Wildlife Federation, including taking the training for and being certified as an official NWF Monarch Steward. I am currently working on my Master Naturalist Certification in North Carolina.
