Sustainable Landfill Design Inspired by Mangroves

A high school student has mimicked the shape of mangroves to build a new landfill design that significantly reduces methane emissions. After testing out this in her backyard with $300, she is now partnering with her local farm and building a large prototype with crowd funds to conduct further trials.
