In celebration of International Year of the Reef (IYOR) 2018, the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation's and the International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) are partnering to bring you the Science without Borders® Challenge. This Challenge is an international art competition that engages students in promoting the need to preserve, protect, and restore the world's oceans and aquatic resources. The Challenge is open to primary and secondary school students 11-19 years old, with prizes of up to $500 awarded to the winning entries in the middle and high school categories. The theme for 2018 is "Why Coral Reefs Matter." The deadline to participate in this year's competition is Monday, April 23, 2018.
