National Geographic Slingshot Challenge National Geographic National Geographic Society’s Slingshot Challenge welcomes students ages 13-18 to submit a one-minute video depicting a solution to a current environmental problem for a chance to win $10,000. The challenge’s aim is to encourage young people to use their voice and creatively tackle the environmental issues of today. Students may work alone or in a team of up to six members on their video. Submission deadline is February 24, 2023.
