The 2024 Hawaii B-WET Funding Opportunity is now open. This is a competitive opportunity for grants to assist in the development of new programs, encourage innovative partnerships among environmental education programs, and support geographically targeted programs to advance environmental education efforts that complement national and state school requirements.

The 2024 Pacific Northwest B-WET funding opportunity is now open and focuses on 1) Systemic classroom-integrated Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) for K-12 students that promote climate resilience and include high-quality teacher professional development related to the MWEEs; and
2) Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEEs) for K-12 students that appropriately involve Indigenous Knowledge and promote climate resilience.

The 2024 Gulf of Mexico B-WET funding opportunity is now open and includes the following priorities: professional development for teachers related to Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences;
exemplary programs combining teacher professional development with Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences for their students; and systemic Meaningful Watershed Educational Experience implementation.
