Letting Our Schools Speak: Stories of Green Practices and Education in Friends Schools is a compilation of articles describing some of the innovative efforts that Quaker schools have been undertaking to help meet the environmental challenges in the 21st Century.  Letting Our Schools Speak is to be a living document with the topic areas: Teaching, Green Practices, Food, Green Buildings and Spaces, and Service and Action.  The Friends School Environmental Education Network (FEEN) Editorial Committee prepared this manual because they believe it essential that those of us committed to fostering environmental stewardship be able to learn from each other’s creativity and hard work.
