Case Study Overview: The Langur Project Penang (LPP), a primate conservation project in Malaysia, integrates zoology and environmental education (EE) to support dusky langur conservation efforts. Recognizing EE as an important conservation tool to help people and wildlife coexist, LPP has evolved from a traditional conservation project to integrate EE into its scope. Since 2016, LPP has been building capacity by training volunteers as citizen scientists who contribute to conservation by actively participating in fieldwork and EE.
