The new comic book, Mayah’s Lot depicts how one young individual makes an impact by prompting her community to fight a hazardous waste facility from operating in her neighborhood.  While fighting to protect the public health of her urban community, Mayah teaches young students that living in the city doesn’t mean you can’t be an environmental hero.
