EcoRise: Sustainability in the Classroom: Houston
Wednesday, October 6th, 2021, 4:30pm to 6:00pm CST

This event is for K-12 classroom teachers in the Metro Houston, TX area.

Learn how teachers can empower students to become “environmental superheroes” within their communities by utilizing the classroom and their school as an active laboratory for sustainability-based problem-solving.

Do you want to see your students' ideas and solutions come to life? Consider having your students apply for an Eco-Audit grant. This session will help you get ready for the process.

Eco-Audit grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis for grant awards up to $500.

This workshop will be held via Zoom. Please ensure your camera and video are working in advance of the workshop and respond to the confirmation email to secure your spot!

*Teachers who attend will have access to the EcoRise Sustainable Intelligence K-12 curriculum, support, and classroom micro-grants.
