Project Hero Process Testers Needed

Project Hero is a learning system that connects students with locally threatened and endangered species, and leads them on a Hero's Quest to help those species with real-world solutions. Quests culminate in a hands-on project to support locally threatened species.

Project Hero is a work in progress. Version 2 is available online now, focused specifically on pollinator species in California, Texas, Colorado, and Georgia, and geared towards students grades 3-5. This version is intended to test the process, and relies on educator facilitation.

The coalition of partners, led by Captain Planet Foundation, is seeking educators willing to take their students through the full Quest process offered by Project Hero, culminating in a hands-on project to support the pollinator species your students select to help.

In addition to finishing the Quest, Official PHv2 pilot testers agree to respond to short surveys following the completion of five stages of the Quest, and to participate in a short phone or Skype interview at the completion of the project.

In exchange, educators are eligible to receive up to a $250 grant to support the pollinator habitat project their class chooses to implement.

Project ends June 30, 2018.
