The Bard M Ed. features an extended professional internship in the second year: from June to January our students are in Malawi and Australia, New York City and Oregon, gaining real world, full-time experience in sustainability education. Students complete a Masters capstone in the final semester of the program.

A number of scholarships and TA/RA positions are available. Application deadlines for the fall are March 15th and May 15th. 

For students interested in “changing the rules”, Bard offers our MS degrees in Environmental Policy and Climate Science and Policy. And for those who want to “change the game”, we have our low-residency MBA in Sustainability, based in New York City.
