Looking for Ecologist to Talk to Students

I’m reaching out on behalf of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Barefoot University. We are a low-cost forest school program currently serving 6,000 students across 22 states!

This school year, we are dedicating our entire school year to exploring the theme of the Earth. It’s going to be a journey that includes the land itself, from the ground up, and everything that lives or grows on it. As part of this adventure, we’re hoping to introduce our K–12 students to the incredible world of ecology through a voice/experience of a professional in the field.

We would be honored if you’d consider recording a short (2–5 minute) video introduction about your work. This doesn’t need to be highly produced—just a friendly, engaging message that helps our students (“Barefooters”) connect with the real-world wonder of what you do.

Please let us know if this is something you’d be open to. I’d be happy to share any additional details or answer questions. Contact us at learningoutdoors@gmail.com.
