The Global Survey is an ambitious project which seeks to establish a baseline undertanding of sustainability and the SDGs in as many countries as possible around the world.

The Global Survey is implemented by Schlange & Co. in collaboration with Yale University, through financing from the German Federal Ministry. The goal is to gather enough data from each country in the world to be able to write country-level reports, identifying areas of priority and need within the UN SDGs. The goal is to present the reports to UN organizations and local governments to encourage action. The plan is to conduct the survey every three years to measure progress-
