Join EcoRise for the opportunity to become LEED-certified along with your students! Louisiana high school teachers are invited to study and sit for the LEED exam alongside their students. This opportunity is funded through the generous help of the EPA, with the goal of increasing students' understanding of sustainability practices to be a driving force of change in the infrastructure of their environments. Participants receive individual study materials through the GBES online platform and paid registration when they are ready to sit for the exam.
EcoRise supports teachers by providing free, LEED-aligned EcoRise Green Building curriculum as well as EcoRise Sustainable Intelligence resources, giving participants 200+ lessons that they can use and modify to educate students on sustainable practices in green building.
*Teachers who have their students sit for the LEED exam will receive $200!*
This opportunity is available to teachers until April 30th, 2025.
