In partnership with member funds and donors, the Common Counsel Foundation provides grant support to over 300 community organizations each year and help advance a broad range of initiatives towards progressive social, racial, economic and environmental change. It also includes a small retreat center for writers and visionaries interested in restructuring the economy and its relationship to people and the environment. The Refuge offers full room and board for 2-week residencies in scenic Point Reyes, California.
