Welcome to eeLEARN, a series of online learning modules covering the basics of environmental education.
We’ve created this module to help the field of environmental education promote principles that build a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive movement and focus on promoting all three tiers of sustainability: ecological integrity, economic prosperity, and social equity.
This module is just a brief introduction into how we as a field can honor the beliefs, attitudes, languages, interpersonal styles, and values of all individuals, and remain committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in all aspects of our work.
While we cannot heal all divisions and inequities in society, our work can help create unique opportunities for cross-cultural understanding and exchanges. And we can build a stronger movement by creating a field that supports, inspires, and welcomes everyone.
