The next webinar in the Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP) fall speaker series will be discussing clean energy education in Alaska and the importance of energy literacy. The webinar takes place Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 AM AKDT/2:00 PM EDT.

  • Cat Walker, NBCT: Public school teacher in Anchorage, Alaska’s 2024 Teacher of the Year and National Teacher of the Year finalist, will discuss the high school students she works with as she helps develop the new Natural Resources Career Pathway for Anchorage School District.
  • Chandler Kemp, M.Sc.: Associate Professor at University of Alaska Fairbanks will discuss the Sustainable Energy Endorsement program.
  • Colleen Fisk, M.Ed.: Education Director at REAP will discuss the various education programs she oversees and delivers across the state to K–12 students.
