Join EcoRise to collaborate with fellow educators and learn how to access funding to support sustainability-focused, student-led projects!

This workshop is for K–12 classroom teachers.

Re-imagine your classroom as a laboratory for applied sustainability education! Explore how EcoRise curriculum, resources, and grant funds can be used to increase student engagement and cultivate eco-literacy and student innovation on your campus and in your community. This interactive workshop will provide an overview of our Sustainable Intelligence curriculum, Eco-Audit Grant resources, and provide a space for collaboration and worktime with other like-minded educators.

Learn how to conduct an eco-audit and how to apply for classroom grants from our Student Innovation Fund.

Agenda:

  • Access dozens of easy-to-implement design activities that you can use with your own students in a remote or in-person environment.
  • Explore how to apply for an Eco-Audit Grant, our student-driven project fund, and review examples of successful student campus and community projects.
  • Share and listen to project ideas from other educators and receive feedback and ask questions to help move your ideas into action.

Classroom grant applications are eligible for funds up to $700 per project!
