The first workshop is one day in Portland, Oregon June 17, 2017. Attendence is free and participants can choose to continue designing and implementing a place-based unit with a Southwest Charter School (a place-based school) teacher as a mentor. With a dissemination grant from the OR Department of Education we are able to offer this workshop free of charge, including printed resources and books.
