At the end of this lesson and the next two lessons, you will be completing a section of the MWEE 101 Reflection assignment. After you complete the third and final lesson in this MWEE 101 course, you will find instructions on how to upload this assignment and how to request a review of your course work to receive a Certificate of Completion and continuing education credits (if available in your state).
In a new tab, please open the MWEE Reflection form: https://eepro.naaee.org/learning/eelearn/eelearn-6-mwee-101/form
You will need to be registered and logged in with eePRO to be able to use this form. You will return to this same form at the completion of Lesson 2 and Lesson 3 so be sure to save your progress as you fill it in. For now, use the form to record your answer to the Lesson 1 reflection question:
1. During Lesson 1, you were introduced to a MWEE happening in elementary, middle, and high school. Think back to the videos you watched and share how you think a MWEE could benefit students, teachers and educators, and the community.
Videos from Lesson 1:
- What is a MWEE?
- MWEE Conestoga Valley High School
- MWEE Lewisdale Elementary School
- MWEE James Wood Middle School
2. During Lesson 1, you watched elementary students practice 21st century skills (e.g., critical thinking, problem solving, communication, media literacy, leadership, and self-direction) during their MWEE. What 21st century skills are you addressing in your classes/programs? How could a MWEE help continue this skill practice and/or introduce new opportunities to practice these skills?
If you are not teaching currently, share how you think a MWEE can encourage 21st century skill practice.

NOTE: You can return to Lesson 1 (or any lesson) as many times as you like if you need to re-read any content but you will need to start from the beginning and will be required to answer the multiple choice and matching questions again to progress through the lesson.
