This workshop is for K–12 classroom teachers.

Re-imagine your classroom as a resiliency hub for your campus! Explore how EcoRise curriculum, resources, and grant funds for student-driven projects can reduce climate anxiety and cultivate eco-literacy on campus and in your community. Through this virtual and interactive professional development, teachers will access the tools needed to help their students evaluate sustainability issues related to water, food, air, energy, transportation, waste, and public spaces.

In this fast-paced session, learn how to access our climate resilience lessons and how to apply for classroom grants from our Student Innovation Fund.

  • Access easy-to-implement climate resilience activities you can use with your students.
  • Experience our Climate Resilience curriculum through a research activity to design impactful solutions to sustainability challenges.
  • Explore how to apply for an Eco-Audit Grant, our student-driven project fund, and review examples of successful student campus and community projects.

Participating teachers will receive CPE and GT credit. Teachers who attend are eligible to receive $1,000 in funding for Student Innovation Projects.
