Ecological Design Certificate Program

Ecosa Institute began educating young design professionals and students in 2000, one of the first organizations to offer programs in sustainability and ecological design. We now offer a 4-month semester Certificate Program in Spring and Fall. Participants who complete the program are awarded an Ecological Design Certificate.

Antony Brown founded Ecosa Institute with a goal of bringing innovative ecological design thinking and an interdisciplinary approach to design education. His intent to educate designers who can integrate human aspirations and nature’s systems with the help of the greatest designer of all – nature– still drives the immersive and experiential programs.

Positive response and participation has affirmed the need for Ecosa's style of design education and it has continued to evolve to remain on the cutting edge of ecological design thinking.

Starting in May, 2017, Ecosa is offering its first 10-day Sustainable Southwest Road Trip, aimed at those who are exploring design career strategies. This 1,000-mile, 10-stop tour, which is also interwoven throughout the semester-long program, explores the past, present and future of sustainability and ways to solve the challenges facing our planet.
