Chesapeake Classrooms

The Chesapeake Bay Foundation invites you to be a part of a high-quality teacher professional development program - Chesapeake Classrooms. Get your feet wet paddling, hiking, fishing, sampling water quality, and visiting people and places that connect your school and community with the Chesapeake Bay. The five-day courses include studies about human impact on our rivers and the Chesapeake Bay watershed as a whole. Participants will do hands-on activities and can take home an array of interdisciplinary activities and lessons that can be incorporated into the school curriculum. Courses take place in June, July, and August. Graduate credit is available.
