Thousands of trees started dying unexpectedly in SW Ohio. The killer was a tiny insect known as the emerald ash borer, an invasive insect from Asia that could wipe out every ash tree in America. TREES IN TROUBLE tells the compelling story of how one community confronted their tree crisis and fought the invasive pest by taking action. Through partnerships with scientists, city officials and everyday citizens, this community was able to fight the pest and protect their urban forests for future generations.
