Interests
I am a passionate Science and Chemistry educator with experience teaching students from Grades 3 to 10. I hold an MSc in Chemistry, along with B.Ed and M.Ed qualifications, and have teaching experience in international school environments. I am particularly interested in NGSS-aligned science education, STEM learning, inquiry-based teaching, and hands-on classroom activities. I enjoy helping students develop scientific curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and environmental awareness through practical learning experiences. I am continuously seeking professional development opportunities to enhance my teaching skills and contribute to meaningful science education.

I am a dedicated and passionate Science and Chemistry educator with approximately nine years of teaching experience, including five years in the United Arab Emirates and previous teaching experience in Pakistan. I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, along with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) qualifications. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked in diverse educational environments, teaching Science, Chemistry, and Environmental Science to students at different grade levels, particularly Grades 3–10.
My teaching philosophy is centred on making science meaningful, engaging, and accessible to every learner. I strongly believe that science education should go beyond textbooks and memorisation. Students learn more effectively when they have opportunities to investigate, experiment, ask questions, explore real-world problems, and apply scientific concepts to their everyday lives.
I am particularly interested in Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), STEM education, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and the 5E instructional model. I enjoy designing hands-on science activities, practical experiments, collaborative projects, and student-centred investigations that encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
My interest in environmental science education focuses on developing students’ awareness of sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, water conservation, pollution prevention, and responsible environmental practices. I believe teachers play an important role in preparing young learners to become environmentally responsible citizens who can contribute positively to their communities and the planet.
I am also interested in integrating educational technology, digital simulations, interactive learning platforms, and innovative teaching strategies into science classrooms to support different learning abilities and improve student engagement.
As a lifelong learner, I continuously seek professional development opportunities to strengthen my subject knowledge, improve my teaching practices, and stay updated with international science education standards and innovative approaches. Through professional learning communities and collaboration with fellow educators, I hope to exchange ideas, share classroom experiences, and contribute to improving science and environmental education.
My ultimate goal is to inspire the next generation of young scientists, critical thinkers, and environmentally responsible global citizens through meaningful and practical science learning.
