I am an environmental educator through my position with the Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection. I coordinate Triad Air Awareness, which is a local air quality education and outreach program and offshoot of NC Air Awareness with Division of Air Quality. I work with people of all ages, but mainly K-12 to teach voluntary actions we can take to reduce air pollution in the Piedmont Triad region. Sometimes I am a guest speaker in classrooms, and other times I’ve helped with non-formal education programs, like after-school or summer camps.
